Workshops:

Addictions: this being human

This workshop is based on my book which offers a new perspective on addictive behaviour. It includes looking at the self-care/ self-harm continuum, shame, dependence, different ways of understanding and therefore working with addiction.

Shame

This workshop explores different aspects of shame. It acknowledges the importance of recognising the impact of shame when working with addictive behaviour. We look at our own shame process. We consider how to recognise it in others and how to work with the defences against shame and shame itself.

Unconscious Processes – working with addictions.

This workshop explores the unconscious processes which are likely to be present when working in the field of addictions.
